Our home crafted blend of Central, South American as well as African origins are roasted independently and then combined to deliver a bold, flavourful cup, specifically aimed toward bean to cup and espresso machines. We designed this blend to bring complexity to your cup and simplicity to your choices.
Brewing recommendations
Our head roaster recommends enjoying this med-dark/dark roast predominantly for milk based espresso drinks, particularly when using a bean to cup machine (which typically require “darker” roast profiles to extract a more impactful cup). Other pressurised extraction methods such as Bialetti (“Moka Pot”) or espresso machines may also be suitable, typically when paired with milk.
We always recommend ordering “whole beans” for that extra flavour and “crisp” freshness you won’t get from store-bought coffee. The Speciality Coffee Association recommends grinding only the amount of coffee to be used during the brew and grinding no more than 15 minutes before brewing. You’d be surprised the difference in freshness, aroma and flavour these changes will bring to your cup.
