This roast delivers a semi-bold, flavourful cup and is suitable for most brew methods. Amongst these is Bean to Cup and espresso machines, which are well suited to this roast and can pair well with milk.
Brewing recommendations
Our head roaster recommends enjoying this medium to medium-dark roast predominantly for milk based espresso drinks, particularly when using a bean to cup machine. Other pressurised extraction methods such as Aeropress, Bialetti (“Moka Pot”), or espresso machines are also suitable.
We always recommend ordering “whole beans” for that extra flavour and “crisp” freshness you won’t get from store-bought coffee. The Speciality Coffee Association recommends grinding only the amount of coffee to be used during the brew and grinding no more than 15 minutes before brewing. You’d be surprised the difference in freshness, aroma and flavour these changes will bring to your cup.
