The Kenya Blue Mountain is a medium bodied specialty coffee, balanced with medium malic acidity. It offers notes of berry and chocolatey aroma with a lingering sweet finish.

Brewing recommendations
Our head roaster recommends enjoying this roast brewed black (without milk) using alternative brewing methods such as a pour over. It is also suggested to let the coffee cool for a minute or two longer than usual for this particular roast, to allow the nuanced flavours to shine through. Even for a lighter roast, this coffee may also be enjoyed with a dash of milk, since the acidity present is well balanced by the body and flavour offered by this bean.
We always recommend ordering “whole beans” for that extra flavour and “crisp” freshness you won’t get from store-bought coffee. The Speciality Coffee Association recommends grinding only the amount of coffee to be used during the brew and grinding no more than 15 minutes before brewing. You’d be surprised the difference in freshness, aroma and flavour these changes will bring to your cup.
