Our mobile espresso trailer delivers specialty coffee experiences to weddings, corporate events, markets, and private occasions across Cape Town.
Cape Town has enough events running on an urn and a stack of paper cups. We built the Apothecary trailer because we wanted the coffee at your wedding, launch, or Saturday market to taste like the coffee we actually roast — small batch, ground to order, pulled properly, not scaled down for a crowd. We show up fully self-contained, set up in under an hour, and pack down again leaving nothing behind but good cups. Based in Blouberg, we travel across Cape Town and the surrounding areas.

Our compact coffee trailer is built around a professional espresso setup operated by experienced baristas. We run on our own inverter and gas — meaning no venue power required. We can set up practically anywhere.
From an intimate 30-person garden party to a 300-person corporate function, we bring the same obsession with quality that goes into every bag we roast.

Sunday mornings at Big Bay Life Saving Club, Saturdays at the Echium Park market, weddings and launches in between — the trailer gets around. These aren’t stock photos; they’re actual mornings with actual queues, actual dogs, and actual regulars who now know their order before we do.

Weddings
Your caterer has the food handled. We handle the part guests actually queue for — flat whites in the golden hour, maybe an espresso martini if you ask nicely. We work around your programme, not the other way round.
Corporate Events
Client days, conferences, product launches, or just an office that’s been living off instant since the good machine broke. We’ve set up in boardrooms and on conference floors alike.
Markets & Pop-Ups
Weekend markets are where a lot of people meet us for the first time — Echium Park, Big Bay, wherever the trailer’s parked. Same beans we roast for the café at Laude. Nothing about it is “market grade.”
Private Functions
Milestone birthdays, garden parties, the odd very committed braai. If there’s a gate we can get a trailer through, we can probably make it work.
Brand Activations
New product, new store, new anything. A good coffee corner does more for a launch than another step-and-repeat banner.

Events FAQ
Do you need power and water on site?
Not necessarily — we can run fully off-grid on our own power and water if your venue can’t provide it. Just tell us upfront so we bring the right setup.
How many guests can you serve?
Comfortably 50–300+ over a few hours, depending on event length and whether service is back-to-back or spread across the day. Give us your numbers when you enquire and we’ll tell you honestly if it’s a good fit.
How far do you travel?
Based in Blouberg, we cover greater Cape Town as standard — City Bowl, Southern Suburbs, Winelands, West Coast. Further out (Hermanus, Franschhoek wine farms) is usually still doable, just ask.
How much lead time do you need?
Two to three weeks is comfortable for most events. Wedding-season weekends book up faster, so the earlier you enquire, the more likely we can hold your date.
