Expect a medium bodied coffee offering a complex range of flavours and a vibrant, fruity acidity. This roast offers both casual as well as more seasoned coffee drinkers an opportunity to try something a little out of the ordinary – particularly when enjoyed black. Amongst other flavours, you may experience floral notes with nuanced, bittersweet fruit including lemon and blueberry. Some have ascribed this to a candy-floss or even rose wine flavour.

Brewing recommendations
Our head roaster recommends enjoying this roast brewed black (without milk) using alternative brewing methods such as a French press. It is also suggested to let the coffee cool for a minute or two longer than usual for this particular roast.
We always recommend ordering “whole beans” for that extra flavour and “crisp” freshness you won’t get from store-bought coffee. The Speciality Coffee Association recommends grinding only the amount of coffee to be used during the brew and grinding no more than 15 minutes before brewing. You’d be surprised the difference in freshness, aroma and flavour these changes will bring to your cup.
