Anfim SCODY Super Caimano On-Demand Espresso Grinder, Black (Second-Hand)

The Anfim SCODY, sold in some markets as the Super Caimano On Demand, is a full-size Italian commercial grinder built for bar work. This one has been in service rather than sitting in a showroom, and it still grinds like it should.
Condition, honestly
There are cosmetic signs of wear on the body. Mechanically it is sound, and it has been kept clean throughout its life rather than left sitting full of stale coffee.
Roughly 25,000 shots have gone through it in total. Since the burrs were last repaired it has done about a year of periodic use in a coffee trailer, so they are in good condition with plenty of life left. If a future owner ever does want a fresh set, replacement burrs for this model cost under R1,000.
How it actually runs
Reliable, and quieter than most commercial on-demand grinders. The dose stays consistent from one shot to the next and there is no clumping, which saves a lot of fiddling with the basket before tamping.
Who it suits
There is enough capacity here for a high-volume cafe, and it is equally at home in a coffee trailer or an office kitchen that only sees a dozen coffees a day. Anfim built these to run all day for years, and they very rarely give trouble.
